If you are looking for a shoe that is casual and comfortable, I suggest opting for a pair of platform black high-top Converse. These shoes are durable for Chico weather (and Chico streets) and are guaranteed to last you a long time. I suggest buying these shoes in black because it matches every outfit and will hide a lot more stains than lighter colors. I have had my high-top converse for over a year and they’re still in great condition!

As you may already know know, Dr. Martens’ is another shoe brand that has a great reputation for long-lasting products. These leather boots are durable against rain and mud and are very easy to clean up. Recently, I have seen a lot of women wearing the Steve Madden Slinky30 sandals while going out. Although I personally have not bought these sandals myself, I’ve heard some amazing reviews! These sandals are sleek and easy to throw on and since they’re platform, they provide a few inches of height. Not to mention, they come with a comfortable stretchy fabric that your feet will thank you for after a night on the town.

Having a pair of cowgirl boots in your closet is an essential when you go to Chico State. You never know when you’ll need them, whether for a themed party, a casual outfit for the daytime, or to spice up your outfit before a night out. Cowboy boots have resurged for a reason – they are fun and help protect your feet from dirt and grit. I’ve had my Amazon pair of cowgirl boots for over a year and they’re still my go-to!
