We aren’t meant to get along with everyone. And when you find yourself at a crossroad, you have two options: try to work it out, or just move on.

Either path is bound to shape your life forever. How do we make the right choice? What if we make the wrong decision, and regret floods in after it’s too late?

But these are the wrong things to be asking yourself. The questions you should be asking are: Is this person really worth it?

Are they? Do they put into the relationship as much effort as you do? Here’s a great concern to have: Do they make you a better person? If a friend, boy or girl, does not do these simple things, why are they in your life? What is the reason for surrounding yourself with people who do not appreciate you for every aspect of your being? You should love and be loved for not only all your beautiful qualities, but your flaws as well.

People in our lives are not perfect — nobody is — but that’s the beauty of relationships. You love those people in your life for all: the good, the bad and the ugly. When we sit here and nitpick at all the qualities we dislike about someone, we miss out on the grand scheme of life. Just to love one another and be happy. If you realize this, and that other person doesn’t, that’s when it is okay to let them go.

A lover of all things outdoors and extreme. Buffalo chicken wings are everything to me. If I'm sleeping, only the brave dare wake me up. Most of all, a lover of life.
