Poly Places: Scout Coffee

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Cal Poly chapter.

Are you an avid coffee drinker?

If the answer is yes, then Scout Coffee could be your next go-to spot.

Located on Garden Street, a few doors down from Linnea’s Cafe, is Scout.

The exterior is glass and tastefully adorned with its modern and welcoming logo.

Clean cement floors and tree stumps, intended to be sat in, greet you as you walk in.

Brick wall beam with warm red colors and almost hug you as you take in this quaint little place.

Friendly baristas stirring milk into mugs and steaming it to perfection for capuccinos made from locally roasted coffee is are just some of the unique individuals you’ll find at Scout Coffee.

At the counter, Scout will tempt you with its muffins, scones and delicious signature cookie.

But before you pay, be sure to check out the stationary on display across from the counter– because let’s be honest, forgetting to send a birthday card to a friend is a terrible feeling.

After you’ve picked up your coffee of choice, or tea, or maybe both, it’s time to choose where to sit.

Scout offers adorable backyard-style booths, which are backed with white panels and soft cushions.

At the front of the store, small white tables for two welcome friends to catch up one-on-one.

So, who’s down for some coffee?
