Well what kind of question is that! We’re in college…of course you love caffeine!
Whether coffee or tea does it for you, there’s one San Luis Obispo favorite that you need to check out if you haven’t already. Blackhorse Espresso and Bakery would be the place that makes dreams come true, or just gives you that extra boost to make it through finals. They are found only in SLO and are a local favorite.
From the basic latte and cappuccino, to their Generra (mocha with a fresh orange peel) and the secret item called the jumpercable (I don’t know what’s in that one, but it’s amazing) you will never leave disappointed. In addition to their quality drinks, they also have fresh pastries to enjoy, like the vegan pumpkin chocolate chip muffin, and great paninis.
Whatever you choose to get, you’ll know the baristas will be welcoming and your experience will leave you wanting to go back the next day.
Their locations are on Broad Street, downtown, on Los Osos Valley Road, and lastly across the street from SLODOCO.
