1. The Ripples Project
Some of us may remember Mr. Ripples as the energetic and inspirational speaker who welcomed us our very first day at Cal Poly in Spanos Stadium. Although I remember being scared straight, sitting with my WOW group in anticipation for the week to begin, I still practice his impactful lessons. In his speech he advised us to take advantage of our experience at Cal Poly by asking questions, keeping an open mind and eliminating the obstacles in our life holding us back. I was so inspired by his speech that I signed up for his newsletter, and every Monday I am emailed quotes and words of wisdom from Mr. Ripples himself, to kick start my week on a positive note.
