It’s finally the weekend and the sun is shining, so you and your friends decide to take a trip to the beach. When you get there, you roll out your towels in a row and lather on the sunscreen–and, of course, you plug your phone into your speakers to bump some tunes. Don’t know what to play? We’ve created the perfect beach day playlist, just for you!

Indie-pop ditties are our favorite soundtrack to a sun-soaked day in the waves, which is why this playlist is full of Two Door Cinema Club, The Lumineers and so much more. Get lost in the easiness of “Past Lives” by Local Natives, or jump around to the guitar riffs of “T-Shirt Weather” by Circa Waves. One thing all of these songs have in common is the great mood they are sure to put you in. And a good mood will make your day at the beach even better than before!

1. “South” by Hippo Campus

2. “Past Lives” by Local Natives

3. “Sedona” by Houndmouth

4. “Sweet Disposition” by The Temper Trap

5. “Waiting for the Dawn” by The Mowgli’s

6. “Shiver Shiver” by Walk The Moon

7. “Different” by The Academic

8. “Show Me the Way” by Penguin Prison

9. “So Far (It’s Alright)” by The 1975

10. “Cigarette Daydreams” by Cage the Elephant

11. “She Moves In Her Own Way” by The Kooks

12. “Ophelia” by The Lumineers

13. “T-Shirt Weather” by Circa Waves

14. “Oceans” by Coasts

15. “This Is The Life” by Two Door Cinema Club

So pack a picnic, throw on your favorite swimsuit and make your way to the beach with these tunes blasting in the background!
