One spooky season staple that we can all agree on is visiting the pumpkin patch, and luckily for us at Cal Poly, Avila Barn hosts one just ten minutes away. But what to wear? Whether you’re hoping to snap a new profile picture or want to show off your freshly purchased mini pumpkins with your roommates, keep reading for the best outfits for the occasion.

Cozy Sweaters

We all know fall is prime sweater season. You can never go wrong with your favorite pair of jeans and a cozy sweater paired with booties to look and feel like a pumpkin patch queen.

Skirts and Sweaters

If it’s still too warm but you’re dying to break out your favorite sweater, pair it with a skirt. You’ll still look fall-ready without sweating all your makeup off.

Fall Colored Dressed

Dresses make it easy to have a complete outfit in just one piece. There are endless dresses out there right now in all sorts of colors that will make you look picture-perfect with the pumpkins. And you can pair your dress with a cardigan and boots to look extra cozy.

Boots

Whether you’re wearing a skirt or dress, thigh-high boots can bring the outfit together, giving you a put-together look that’s ready for autumn weather.

Denim Overalls

And if you’re not feeling a dress or skirt, try out a pair of classic denim overalls. They never fail to make you look cute, casual and stylish all at once.

Off-the-shoulder tops

Off-the-shoulder tops are another effortless way to up your outfit game. Whether it’s short or long-sleeve, pair your top with some jeans or a skirt and you’re ready to go. And check out this one from Shein for some perfect fall colors.
