It’s been a long week 10 and now it’s time to gear up for finals. If you’re anything like us, you know our mind is being pulled in so many different directions and it can be hard to focus on the task at hand, finals.

Here are 6 thoughts we have going into finals week this quarter and how to address them.

Is this over yet?

This is quarter has felt really long and it’s the home stretch. Just keep your nice, long three week break in site and grind through this studying.

When is it time to celebrate the holidays?

We are already six days into December and it has gone by way too  fast! While we were focusing on projects, studying and countless other commitments the days just flew by. But seriously when will we get the time to bake some cookies, drink hot coco and decorate the Christmas tree? Don’t worry, your time is coming. Finals are over in exactly one week and we can make it through! Make it a goal to try to watch a few Christmas movies as you finish finals to get in the holiday spirit.

When will I have time to go Christmas shopping?

December 13th is cutting it a little close to get all your Christmas shopping done, so try to have a plan. Take little study breaks throughout the week so you can online shop or head downtown.

Will I even pass my classes?

We are all afraid of bombing the final at the very end or maybe some last minute grading sending you into a risk of not passing. Maybe you just need a certain GPA and you have that hanging over your shoulders. Just take a deep breath and relax. Work hard this week and be confident that you worked hard all quarter and studied  hard enough at the end to at least pass.

WTF is even on this final?!?

We’ve all been stuck here, when you don’t even know where to start. Make some study groups, start from the beginning of the quarter and work your way up. You know more than you think you dot.

Is it me time yet?

Me time is around the corner baby! You will have all the time you could ever want and need for three weeks. But don’t forget to take time for yourself this finals week. Make an effort to do one thing for yourself every day.

This time of the year is always stressful, but very exciting. You have to work really hard for the final push to get everything done but there is so much to look forward to!

Good luck with finals and safe travels! Comment below some of your thoughts going into finals week!
