We can all agree, staying home and quarantining is not fun! But it IS necessary. To get us all through these unusual times, here are a few things that have been making my quarantine just a little more doable.

Netflix, Hulu, Oh My

My binge-worthy show at the moment is Dynasty with Elizabeth Gillies (Jade from Victorious). This 2-season show is about the lives of the billionaire Carrington family. With murder, psychopaths, and romance, this show covers it all! Don’t worry, season 3 is on right now! Another one of my favorites that I keep coming back to is The Vampire Diaries. Innocent Elena Gilbert finds shocking discoveries about her hometown Mystic Falls and the people she’s known her whole life.

Cleaning

It sounds like a chore, but now is the time to clean your room. And I mean dust, vacuum, all that good stuff. I deep-cleaned my entire room and let me tell you, it felt so satisfying. Plus, giving away any old toys or clothes will help another person who is in need.

TikTok

TikTok is honestly one of my favorite apps. I can spend hours on it because each video is different. I’m either laughing at one or invested in the plot in the next. I especially love the point of view videos because people are just so creative! Fair warning, the songs are super catchy and will get stuck in your head.

FaceTime

FaceTime has helped so much by allowing me to see my family and friends over this long break. Sometimes just their company helps even if we are both doing different things like homework or playing Club Penguin.

School Work

I don’t know about y’all, but I’ve been swamped with all online classes. All the lecture videos, Zoom calls, PAPERS! It’s like our professors don’t know we take other classes! A majority of my time is doing homework, but if yours isn’t, work ahead! It’s almost finals, we can do this!

Hopefully, this will give you ideas on what to do during this time and keep you from boredom snacking (lol!). Remember to wash your hands and stay inside!
