Everyone knows you can’t use just any old mascara. Different people are looking for different results from their mascara, and every girl I know has a brand that she 100% swears by. But sometimes, what used to work just doesn’t do it for you anymore, and you have to switch to a new product. With so many brands making so many promises, how are you supposed to choose? Well, I’m here to help! I interviewed a few of my friends to see which mascara they liked to use and why it was their favorite. I also asked them to give their favorite mascara a rating out of 5 to see how well it works as advertised for them. Hopefully, their advice can help you!

“I use Benefit Roller Lash Mascara. I’ve been using it since the 7th grade. It separates lashes beautifully and it coats them with the right amount. I have pretty straight, Asian eyelashes, so finding this product was definitely a game-changer for me.”

“Any of the Falsies by Maybelline. I used to do theater and I would use this mascara instead of fake eyelashes because it was way easier to put on and looked just as good (any of the Falsies kind of make them look longer, darker, and more dramatic). It also stays on really well and doesn’t run, although it is a pain to get off.”
