Name: James Adair Cobb

Hometown: Waco, Texas

Major: Theatre

Aspiration in life: to perform on Broadway

If you could be cast as any character in a movie what would it be and why? I would choose a villain because they are remembered and are the ones who teach a lesson.

Why CofC? I chose CofC because of its location next to the water and the artsy town that it is. I enjoy the people here, the class sizes and how much there is to do on the weekend.

Favorite hobbies: Theatre and art because I can express my feelings or escape them. Basketball because it is fun, you can bond with other guys, and it’s good exercise.

Claim to fame: A picture of me and my brother when we were two and six year old on my great grandmother’s front porch butt naked with our backs to the camera called “The Emperor’s New School Clothes” made it into a famous photography book.

Biggest mistake: My friends and me were shooting off artillery shell fireworks, the big ones that pop colors in the sky. My friend tripped over the tube that they got shot out of and broke it but we still had a lot of shells left over so we decided to throw one in the air to explode. I lit it while my friend Addison held it and threw it really high, but forgot to let the fuse burn down first and it exploded five feet off the ground. The whole field caught on fire! We were going to camp out of my friend Nick’s pick up on sleeping bags, so we were running around flopping the sleeping bag every which way. Addison was shocked and wouldn’t move. I called the fire department and my friend took our cooler of soda and just threw it on the fire. Finally after the fire people put it out, they just left without really asking anything. There then became a burn ban and no firework popping that year.
