If there was one winter wear that should be found in any wonderful womens wardrobe right now, it would be the perfection that is the poncho. No, this flowing, flirty fashion of fabric is not a want; it is a need. When there is such a trend that embodies the whole chic meets comfort design dynamic, it is of utmost importance, for the sake of style, that we all take notice. Basically, a poncho is a blanket the fashion world deemed stylish enough to wear in public. Need I say more?

With its free flowing form, total boho-chic persona, wealth of warmth, and endless ensemble endeavors, we should all be wrapped in this cozy little number and shout “Power to the Poncho” for all to hear. This cape for fashion royalty can get fancy with heels, be casual with some destroyed denim, look hip with a hat, and send cool girl vibes to all who stare with style envy. Ladies, just think of the poncho as the winter subsitute for the summertime fave the kimono. It gives your outfit that coveted effortless chic by merely slipping it on for added flare.

If you are still hesitant on the power of the poncho, then look no further than the leader of the Pro-Poncho movement, Burberry Prorsum, for a rundown on the whole poncho panache. The British brand has draped designer darlings such as Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Cara Delevingne, Olivia Palermo, and Sara Jessica Parker, in there colorblocked poncho, which also happens to be monogrammed. And as if you now needed any more poncho persuasion, the timeless trend is also Rachel Zoe approved!

So, do we have you putting a Pro-Poncho punch in the air yet? Hope so.
