The Fault In Our Stars is Almost Here

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at C of C chapter.

Get your tissues ready. Because the official trailer for The Fault In Our Stars is here! If you haven’t seen it yet, watch it now!

Something tells me that this movie is going to make us cry more than the book. (If that’s even possible) Yes, come June 6th we’re all going to be sitting in the movie theater crying into our large buckets of popcorn because John Green knows how to rip our hearts out. The movie is based on the bestselling book by John Green. The main characters are played by Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort, who have previously worked together on another highly anticipated book-to-movie adaptation, Divergent, set to premiere in theaters this March.

If, by any chance, you HAVEN’T read the book, read this short synopsis from IMDB:

“Hazel and Gus are two teenagers who share an acerbic wit, a disdain for the conventional, and a love that sweeps them on a journey. Their relationship is all the more miraculous given that Hazel’s other constant companion is an oxygen tank, Gus jokes about his prosthetic leg, and they met and fell in love at a cancer support group.”

These two are DEFINITELY going to steal our hearts this summer. So get ready, and buy waterproof mascera. Okay?
