Politics are in simple words a mess. There is no good way to explain what the hell is happening in our country right now and not just because of the Pandemic. You watch the news and all you see is to sides at each other’s necks. We as a country are more divided than Moses and the Red Sea. It’s all Liberals this and Conservatives that. I find it truly disgusting. We are a whole country. We are ALL Americans. As Americans, we should be fighting for the greater good of the entire country. It’s okay to have disagreements but we have gone far beyond that. We don’t even listen to each other anymore; we don’t compromise or negotiate. I hate it. There seems to be no respect left in politics. Each side spouts that it is trying to do what is right for our country, but neither is willing to consider what the other is presenting. Both sides can be wrong and it’s far past time that they each let go of their pride. I know it’s not a simple task, but we should at least be trying. It should be a very clear goal for the future of our country. Nothing is ever going to be perfect, but there is the possibility of it being better than this. This divide between us honestly contradicts our title as the United States of America, and it’s sad. Hopefully, my generation is lucky enough to see a more unified America.
