Senior showcases have gone up in the College of Charleston School of the Arts gallery.  Emily Lacroix’s 30 pieces including various aspects of women on campus and what makes them feel confident or beautiful is shown brightly and boldy in the white hallway. Her artwork, as she mentioned in her accompanying thesis, toes the line between artistic and pornagraphic but her goal was to show the beauty of the human form.

This and other senior pieces will be on display until October 30th.

Born and raised in the northernmost state, Alaska, Marissa flew south to College of Charleston for a little more sun and a little more heat.  She believes a good life involves coffee, puppies, and more coffee and free time is her favorite thing not to have.
