Let’s be real. Fall is the ultimate supreme of the seasons. Summer? Nope. I’m sorry, but do you really enjoy 15 bug bites and sweat-drenched clothes after being outside for just a few minutes? I definitely don’t. Winter? Close call. Christmas is my favorite holiday, but this southern gal needs the weather to be about 10 degrees warmer for it to be perfect. Don’t even get me started on spring. Do y’all actually like pollen covering literally everything? Fall is clearly the best, and if I haven’t convinced you yet, here’s 8 more reasons why:

1. Fall Has the BEST Weather.

Those first cool winds of fall this year made me feel some type of way. Fall weather is the best because you’re no longer sweating constantly although, you’re not shivering all day either. It’s the right amount of coolness for you to break out those cute sweaters, but not have to bundle up to the point where you resemble the abominable snowman.

2. Fall Fashion

Like I mentioned in my before, fall weather gives the perfect opportunities for you to wear your cutest Pinterest-worthy fall outfits. Who doesn’t love a good sweater, ripped jeans, boots ensemble?!

3. College Football Is in Full Swing

Tailgates, cheering fans, watching your team win—all make for the perfect Saturday.

P.S. Dawgs on Top

4. The Colors of Fall

Yellow! Red! Orange! Give me all the warm tones! The leaves changing colors, the orange of the pumpkins, the warmer tones of fall outfits all make for the most beautiful scenery.

5. Fall Themed Activities

With hayrides, pumpkin patches, haunted houses, fall gives you unlimited date/girl’s day ideas. What’s better than carving pumpkins while watching Halloween movies with the ones you love?

6. Halloween movies

Move over, Hallmark Christmas. Fall dominates when it comes to entertainment. “Hocus Pocus”, “Halloweentown”, “Friday the 13th”, “Nightmare before Christmas” and “Halloween” are just a few good options for your next movie night. Nothing beats cuddling up under a fuzzy blanket with friends or a loved one while indulging in a good scare.

7. HALLOWEEN

In my opinion, Halloween is probably the most fun holiday for all ages. Kids get to dress up in costumes and go trick-or-treating, adults get to dress up in costumes for Halloween parties, and those who aren’t interested in either of those get to pass out candy to the cute trick-or-treaters at their door. It’s an all-around exciting holiday.

8. The Holidays Are Fast-Approaching

Obviously, Halloween is the main holiday of fall, but after waking up from a sugar coma, we have Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years to look forward to! A holiday devoted to eating the best food all year right after a holiday centered around candy is a dream. What holidays are in the summer? Fourth of July? OK, have fun with your hot dogs and sweat while I get my fat pants ready for all the Thanksgiving food.

If this article hasn’t made you snuggle up with a cup of something hot to drink and your favorite Halloween move already queued up, I don’t know what to tell you because fall is obviously the best. Case closed.
