Finding off campus housing in a city can feels almost impossible and the search for an affordable yet nice place to live can seen almost never ending. But we all go through the struggle and the different stages of the daunting process.  Here’s what it feels like to find a place to live in a city:

1. When you finally find the group you’re going to live with.

Yaaaaaas, we’re going to be froomies!

2. Looking on Craigslist everyday to see if anything new popped up.

Too expensive.  Too gross.  Where is the perfect apartment? *sighs*

3. When you go to see the house and other people are there too.

NO.  This is mine!

4. You try to ask the realtor a question, but then you get nervous.

Help, I don’t know what I’m doing…

5. When all the parents agree on a place that you guys like…

#blessed

6. …but someone else signs the lease before you so you have to start the whole process over.

7. FINALLY finding a house AND signing the lease!

The feeling of sweet relief!

May the house hunting odds be ever in your favor, collegiettes! HCXO
