6 Halloween Costumes You Have In Your Closet

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at C of C chapter.

With Halloween just around the corner and your bank account running low on cash, it’s nice to know you can come up with a costume with things you already own. You get to save money AND put your own style into your costume! And not to mention the fact that your costume will be completely unique!

1. Elsa

Stand out in a sea of store bought Elsa costumes with your own unique outfit. The key points of this costume are the braid and the icy blue colored outfit. Besides that you have the freedom to style it however your closet permits!

2. Rosie the Riveter

All you need for this iconic costume is a denim shirt, a red bandana, and a can-do attitude!

3. Deer

The outfit for this one is simple because all you really need is a brown shirt. The most important part is the makeup and the antlers, which you can either pick up from a costume store or make yourself with sticks and a headband.

4. Sandy

With a black shirt, black skinnies, red shoes, and big hair, you’ll rock this classic look! It might just make you want to break out into a big musical number.

5. Skeleton

Cut up an old t-shirt and make your own skeleton costume. Don’t forget the skull makeup to complete the look!

6. A witch from AHS: Coven

Quite possibly the easiest and most chic closet costume of all. Literally, all you have to do is wear something black.
