6 Charleston Springtime Activities

One of the best things about living in Charleston is that springtime comes early! So take a chance to be a tourist in your own city, enjoy the warm weather and check out a few fun events happening around town. 

1. Farmer’s Market

One of our personal favorites! Don’t miss the Farmer’s Market, which starts back up again in April on Saturday mornings’ in Marion Square

2. Night Market

Another fun spring market, the Night Market takes place at the Charleston City Market every Friday and Saturday from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm. Explore over 100 vendors in the heart of Charleston’s Historic District and find some cute gifts for friends, family or just yourself!

3. WildFlour Pastry

Every Sunday morning starting at 8 am, WildFlour serves its famous sticky buns. Do not miss these to-die-for desserts!

4. Read a Book at White Point Gardens

This park is also a great place for studying, having a picnic or just relaxing and people-watching.

5. Go to the beach

You’re just an Uber away from Charleston’s beautiful beaches. Make sure to take advantage of the warm weather before finals (or even study for your finals there!).

6. Do the Cooper River Bridge Run

On Saturday, April 2nd, one of the most recognized annual 10k races in the country takes place. It’s not too late, click here to sign up now. Not a runner? Be sure to go and cheer on the athletes, participants come from all over the country to run in our beautiful city.
