Blogs are a great way for people to express themselves, and that includes fashion and beauty. These blogs then go on to inspire others to express themselves through their own style. Personally, I love reading blogs! Even though I don’t have the money to buy the clothes and products they write about, it does give me ideas for new clothes to try out. Here is a list of five fashion blogs and five beauty blogs I recommend you read.

Fashion

1.     Late Afternoon (http://www.lateafternoonblog.com/)- The pictures first drew me into this blog. I just love them and her style is also unique! While it may be hard to pull of some of the outfits she has for school, you can find a more campus-appropriate alternative.

2.     Snakes Nest (http://www.bethanystruble.com/)- The style showcased on this blog is so simple. It almost seems too easy to be so cute! Lucky for us we can wear many of these outfits to class, work, the library, or just around your apartment.

3.     Where Did U Get That (http://www.wheredidugetthat.com/)- The unique aspect to this blog is that the writer is actually from London, but now living in NYC. It’s interesting to see her take on style since the two cities are quite different.

4.     Fashiontoast (http://www.fashiontoast.com)- After looking at how clothes are paired on this blog, you will be inspired to see what basics you have in your closet that you can make look so chic! While she does have a few clothing articles that are “in” at the moment, it seems like most of her clothes are basics and she puts her own unique twist to them.

5.     The Londoner (http://www.thelondoner.me/)- This is a London-based blog, but she always dresses so classy! Even though many of the clothes she mentions are not available to use (although there is the internet… what a life-saver!), you are sure to find similarities from other stores.

Beauty

1.     Tanya Burr (http://www.tanyaburr.co.uk/)- This YouTube star and makeup guru has plenty of tips and tricks to help you achieve many different looks. She also has video tutorials that you can follow along.

2.     Zoella (http://www.zoella.co.uk/)- Again, another YouTube star! Her blog is more about products she likes, new products she is trying and also what she is doing in her life.

3.    Rosie Recommends (http://rosie-recommends.blogspot.co.uk/)- This is actually an Australian blogger! Her blog talks a lot about products she likes, as well as tips, such as how to clean your makeup brushes and what face wash is best.

4.     Super Gorgeous (http://www.supergorgeous.co.uk/)- Again, her blog talks about her favorite products (spot a trend here…) as well as big events she goes to. She is a professional makeup artist so she gets to cover some fashion shows, such as London Fashion Week.

5.     She’s In The Glow (http://shesintheglow.com/)- This blog is ran by two people, which doesn’t happen often! The pictures they take really stand out to me, as well as how they run their blog. They do more tutorial-based blogs, but not step-by-step routines. Instead they write about what products you can use if you are trying to accomplish something.

There are many other amazing blogs that I read, these are just a few of my favorites! Reading an assortment of blogs from different places could also inspire you to try new trends. Grab a cup of coffee, a cozy blanket and your laptop. Blog reading becomes addicting.
