“It’s Black Friday, Black Friday, everyone shop on Black Friday”. Okay, sorry for getting the rendition of the Jenna Marble’s Friday, Friday song stuck in your head. But seriously, Black Friday is right around the corner! This means that stores everywhere are preparing their sale floors and employees for the chaos that is also known as shopping. This year more than ever before, we are seeing some stores start their sales on Thanksgiving. So be prepared for a late night, lots of caffeine, and crazy long lines. To make your life a little easier that day, we got all the bases covered. Here is a list of some of the stores with the best deals around.
1. Macy’s: Doors open at 8 p.m. on Thursday (Black Friday Eve). This is both crazy and exciting. Crazy because the sale cuts into family time, but exciting because people that have to work Friday will still be able to go into work. Macy’s is having some great deals this year, especially in their clothing sections. Some of the deals include doorbusters like 60% off designer winter coats, Northface jackets for $69.99 and a $10 “Macy’s Wow! Pass” which can be applied to all sale and clearance items!
2. Sally’s Beauty Supply: With the amount of time we spend doing our hair, it only makes sense that we would want to take care of it. Well, Sally’s has you covered for all your hair care needs. The Chi Elite Straightener is on sale for $79.99, Ion Styling Tools come with a free tote, and Mystic Divine Hair Care products are going for $8.49 each. 3. Best Buy: Starting earlier than most, Best Buy it opening its doors at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving! Gone are the days of camping out at night to be first in line for the best deals. This is your one stop shop for all your electronic needs. The Touchscreen Intel Processor Laptop is on sale for $177.99, the Kindle is selling for $49.99, and the PlayStation 3 Bundle is $199 after savings. They are also offering mystery deals starting at 10 p.m. and more doorbusters starting 10 a.m. Friday.
4. Online Sites: To compete with the bigger stores, some of our favorite online stores are starting to offer deals other than those on Cyber Monday. Sites like 6pm.com are among the first. They will be starting at 6 p.m. (play on words!) Thursday. One of the biggest deals is that they will be having $24 off one item per hour for 24 hours! This can rack up some serious savings.
5. Bed Bath and Beyond: Opening at 6 a.m. on Friday, this store is great for all your home goods and stocking stuffers. Get there when doors open for your 20% off entire purchase coupon. Unique to this store, the coupon is valid all Friday long. Online shopping for Bed Bath and Beyond starts at 12:01 a.m. Friday. They are also giving free shipping for orders of $75 or more.
