How To Get A Spring Break Body In 30 Days

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at C Mich chapter.

If you’re anything like me, you have waited until the absolute last minute to think about getting in shape for spring break. Hopping back into that bikini after barely seeing the gym in months is a scary thought to say the least. You may think 30 days isn’t enough time to get back the body you had in July, but I’m here to tell you it is possible by following these rules.

1. Hit The Gym

Sorry to break it to you but working out is one of the biggest parts of getting back your beach bod. To many, the gym is a foreign place that you will inevitably see people you just don’t want to see. Despite this downfall, it is good to be around people who are motivated to get in shape just like you, even if one of those people is that creepy guy from the bar last night. Usually the hardest part about going to the gym is getting up and going so once you get in a routine you’ll be on the road to a bikini bod!

2. Eat Healthy

Eating healthy is another obvious aspect of getting back in shape, and for people like me, it’s the hardest. Being a college student you are constantly temped with Dog Central, Half Off Apps and Qdoba Wednesdays. Aside from forcing yourself to bed after the bars to avoid raiding your fridge, there are a few other alternatives to stay healthy throughout the week. By making yourself a lot of (healthy) food at the beginning of the week, you will be set for most meals. Also, the next time you grocery shop, be sure to only buy healthy foods. This is an easy solution to those late night munchies.

3. Walk To Class

After the recent snowstorm, you might hate snow more than you ever thought you could. Although trying to avoid contact with the snow by driving, walking is an easy way to burn those cals. You’re going to class regardless so why not get in a workout on the way?

4. At Home Workouts

Whether its crunches during commercials, squats while your brushing your teeth or lunges on your way to bed (yes I have done this), you are getting small workouts in while doing your everyday activities. There are also tons of great workout videos on YouTube to do if you want to mix up your workout routine.

So for those of you who have started wondering why you even decided to go on Spring Break because of your lack of gym time, relax! There is still time to whip your bod into spring break shape.
