Cold weather, pretty colors, and pumpkin pie. What isn’t there to love about Fall? Here are some cute ideas to share with your SO during the best season of the year.

Have a movie night

Watch your favorite Halloween or Horror movies. Favorites of mine include: The Shining, IT, Carrie (Anything that’s based on a Stephen King novel…) or maybe on the less scary side, movies like The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Addams Family, Hocus Pocus, or Halloween Town. Whatever the movie is, grab your loved one, grab a blanket, and have a nice movie night.

Go for a drive, go to the park

Yes, it might be cold out, but it’s so beautiful during the Fall. Especially in Michigan. Bundle up, and go for a walk in your local park, walking is always good for you anyway.

If you want to see a bigger range of pretty colors, I suggest going for a drive. In Michigan, it seems the farther you drive North, the prettier the trees and scenery gets.

Bake Together

It’s pumpkin season. This is the time to bake a pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, that weird pumpkin recipe you saw on Pinterest, or anything else pumpkin. Apples are usually a big favorite during Autumn as well. Apple cider + donuts = yum!

Visit a Cider Mill

I love love love cider mills. They always have the best cider, and sell the tastiest donuts. Check out a local cider mill with your bae this Fall– it’s worth it.

Carve Pumpkins

As you get older, people might consider carving pumpkins something you would do as a kid, but I don’t care. I always love carving pumpkins. It’s fun to get your boyfriend to scoop out the weird feeling guts of the pumpkin while you’re in charge of the designs on the pumpkin. Plus– cooking the pumpkins for later is always a tasty treat!
