And just like that, winter break is over. It almost feels like we just got done with our finals last week – and not 6 weeks ago. It’s time to get back into the grind of things!

This past semester, I found that having a consistent sleep schedule helped me out immensely. Try to avoid sleeping in, and staying up until 4am if it’s really not necessary. It is super important to remember to also make time to take care of yourself along with school. I started to make sure I would be in bed by midnight on weekdays, and out of bed by 8:00 AM. Mind you I am not a morning person whatsoever, and it did take time to get to this consistent schedule.

Even if you don’t have class early in the morning it’s still a good idea to wake up early because you will definitely get more out of your day. It helped me to be more productive, I would get all of my assignments done in the beginning of the day, so I didn’t have to go through the day with this on my mind and to not look forward to. With all of my assignments out of the way, I found i would have a much less stressful day knowing there’s no more work to be done. So this then gave me some free time to either catch up in classes, or have some me time – like maybe hit the gym, put on a face mask, and get in a couple episodes on netflix!
