A Review: The Starbucks Crystal Ball Frappuccino

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Buffalo chapter.

This week, Starbucks unveiled their newest limited time drink, the Crystal Ball Frappuccino.

This drink is caffeine free, and marketed as tasting like peaches and cream with its peach infusion and peach flavored whipped cream. It’s given a pretty, marbled appearance with turquoise drizzle all throughout the inside, and it’s topped with candy crystal gems meant to reveal your fortune. If you get blue, you are said to have adventure in your future, luck if green, and magic if purple.

After testing the drink out, my friends and I concluded that it tasted like a melted Creamsicle. The flavor wasn’t too overbearing or sweet, and it was definitely one of my favorites out of their past few limited time flavors. Plus, the turquoise drizzle and crystals on top were very pretty (definitely worth an insta pic), and the little added bonus of receiving your “fortune” made ordering it extra fun.

Overall, I’d say it’s definitely worth it if you’ve been thinking about trying it, or if you’ve just got some extra free drink rewards laying around. Enjoy!
