College isn’t easy, let alone all the stress that comes from senior year. There are so many things you have to worry about and so many emotions. Here’s a few ways to handle them:

  • Stay on top of your school work and start thinking about your next steps after you graduate. If its graduate or professional school start looking into application requirements early on.

  • Don’t forget to start on those recommendation letters and studying for those GRE exams.

  • Look into your loans and when you have to start paying them back. Speak with a financial advisor and come up with a plan that best suits your needs.

  • Remember its okay to not have a set plan for after you graduate, gap years are okay. Just be productive and participate in things that will help your chances for a future career.

  • It senior year of your college experience, get a handle on your emotions by hanging out with your friends and going to all those events you enjoy so much one last time.

  • Make a collage or collect items that you have as keepsakes to remind you of those great moments.

Although it seems like everything is coming to an end so quickly, remember that you are just starting another chapter of your life. The past few years you have worked hard so when you walk across that stage be proud to say you made it!
