Emmy announced on her Twitter that she is leaving the show for good and will not be returning for Season 8, which starts filming next month. Her reasoning behind leaving the show was “starting the next chapter in her life,” though it’s been speculated that it may be because she wasn’t getting paid as much as her co-star and TV father William H. Macy.
