As Spooky Season approaches us I am very eager to ring in the holiday season- the best holiday season. Fall and Halloween is literally the best time of the year and to celebrate it I usually put on a nice movie and eat some of those unhealthy halloween sugar cookies you get at the supermarket. Here is a list of my top 5 all time favorite Halloween/ Fall time movies.

Halloweentown (1998)

This movie is pure nostalgia. I remember watching this when it was on Monstober on Disney channel and even now as an adult I can still enjoy it. A perfect family Halloween movie that anyone can love it.

The Addams Family (1991 &1993)

These movies used to be a staple in my house during October. It has everything, humor, adventure, excitement, and it’s good for all ages! I loved Wednesday so much I literally wanted to be her. And Morticia? What an icon. Truly a classic.

Beetlejuice (1988)

This 80s cult classic is a must watch during the fall season. I mean just for Winona Ryder alone. She was in her prime. Every time I see it play on ABC Family I know it’s that time of the year, and it’s a great feeling!

Ghostbusters (1984)

Ghostbusters is such a legendary movie. It truly can be enjoyed any time of the year. It always makes me laugh so hard when I watch it. Even just thinking about it I start singing the song. Such a good movie for everyone, even if some of the jokes are a bit raunchy.

Hocus Pocus (1993)

My all time favorite Halloween movie. I cannot even count how many times I have watched it because it would definitely be in the thousands. I could truly go on and on about how much I love this movie. The music? Iconic. The dialogue? Iconic. The vibes? ICONIC. If I could literally watch one movie for the rest of my life this would definitely be it. I could probably quote the entire movie off the top of my head.
