HC Buff State: Who is your biggest inspiration?
Rene: Mother for teaching me how to have a great work ethic at all times
HC Buff State: What things have you done or organizations are you a part of on campus?
Rene: I am the President of Lambda Sigma Upsilon Latino Fraternity Inc., I was Student Assistant For the Educational Opportunities Program twice, an Educational Opportunities Program Mentor, InterGreek Association Delegate
and an Orientation Leader.
HC Buff State: What made you choose to come to Buffalo State?
Rene: After losing a close friend I realized that going as far away as possible for college was the best decision.
HC Buff State: What were your best and worst experiences while attending Buff State?
Rene: Best experience- Becoming a brother of Lambda Sigma Upsilon Latino Fraternity Incorporated because its allowed me to meet and create memories with individuals that I would have never thought I would meet. Worst experience – Fracturing my ankle Freshman year in Campus West and having to go around campus with crutches.
HC Buff State: What do you hope to do after you graduate?
Rene: I hope to become a Homicide detective in New York City
HC Buff State: What is you motivation for continuing on as a student at Buff State?
Rene: My biggest motivation is to always remember why I came to college in the first place, to further my education.
