Eduardo Dominguez: A Man With A Ton Of Ambition

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Buff State chapter.

Eduardo’s Quote to Live By:  “A moment ends, I’ve got my rhymes.  Whatever comes, I write it down so knock me out and shoot me down.  With mics in hand, we’ll stand against the test of time.”  – Lykke Li & Santigold
Eduardo Dominguez is a hardworking young man with a ton of ambition to back him up.  A Public Relations major with a minor in Writing, Eduardo has a talent not only for writing but also for music.  He wishes to pursue a career in the music industry for record labels to help promote up and coming musicians throughout the United States and become a songwriter as well.  Although not a musician himself, Eduardo plans to learn the keyboard this summer to “teach myself the basics of music” and attend numerous concerts to expand his musical library.
When Eduardo’s not busy concocting musical scores, he is participating in the various Buffalo State organizations he is associated in.  The Lens, an art and literary magazine that he helped to start back in 2010, keeps him busy with the many music reviews he writes on artists such as V.V. Brown and Theophilus London.  When asked how he felt about his involvement with The Lens Eduardo stated, “The Lens enables me to promote up-and-coming musicians for the purpose of looking at the value of their creativity while working with a diverse group of individuals.”  Eduardo has recently become a disc jockey for Buffalo State’s own radio station, 91.3 FM WBNY that he runs with a fellow classmate.  Eduardo enjoys the position so far stating, “WBNY allows me to provide the western community of Buffalo with a direct source to the alternative and indie music scene.”  And if that isn’t enough, Eduardo is also working with Buffalo State’s Community Academic Center to help raise awareness of organizations throughout the Buffalo State campus stating, “I will be providing them with various Public Relations tools such as brochures, news releases, and articles.”  Which adds to Eduardo’s volunteer work in the Buffalo community.
Eduardo may be stuck in college now, but do not be surprised if you see this amazing guy doing big things in the music world soon enough.  He has big plans for himself and a bright future ahead and we could not be happier to call him a campus celebrity here at Buffalo State.
