The official Buffalo State plaid was unveiled last year for the Fashion and Textile Technology Department’s annual Runway fashion show. The students in this department were apart of a contest to design the school’s official plaid using the school colors. Out of thirsty-seven designs, one was picked! It was designed by senior Fashion and Textile Technology major Kaitlyn Emminger.
The two outfits, pictured below, were designed by a professor in the Fashion Department, Shantel Reid. It is located on the third floor of the Technology building. This design is also being featured on apparel in the Barnes and Noble bookstore.
