The five sex Dos & Don’ts every Buffalo State Collegiette should know!
1. DO know where your partner’s been. Knowing your partner’s sexual history is the most important step in getting to know them in and out of the bedroom. Each of you being tested for STD’s also helps to put both your minds at ease and enjoy each other without the worry.
2. DON’T sleep with someone you just met at a party. Sure, it may seem fun at the moment, but possibly being under the influence of alcohol or other substances can impair your judgment and cause you to regret your decisions in the morning. Don’t be pressured to do anything you’re not comfortable with and remember to always have a friend with you.
3. DO date around. Date lots of people! There’s no harm in testing the waters with a few campus cuties, just as long as your only DATING them, not sleeping with them.
4. DON’T have sex while your roommate’s around. Not only is it disrespectful to your roomie, it can be awkward trying to explain what happened when your guy was over while she was trying to sleep. Ask your roommate for privacy in situations with your significant other, she’ll know what you mean.
5. DO keep your sex life and your personal life separate. It’s fun to brag about the people you’ve bedded to your friends, but doing so with random strangers only gives off bad vibes. Make sure to share your sex life with the people you trust so rumors are not popping up about you with random people.
