Noises Off is a British farce written by Michael Frayn. It is about actors putting on a play called Nothing On and trying to get through it while dealing with backstage drama. From people missing their cues to fights on and off stage, this play is filled with slapstick comedy that will have you roaring with laughter. The Buffalo State’s Theater Department is putting on a production of Noises Off that will be performed during the first two weekends of March. Here are some reasons why you should come see this wonderfully, amusing play!

1. It is hilarious and entertaining

If you want to spend a few hours dying from laughter, then I suggest you see this show. From funny physical comedy to funny one-liners, this show will have you laughing from the moment the curtain goes up.

2. Members from Friday Night Live are in the cast

A fan of FNL Improv Show? Then you are in luck because most of the members are in this show! Come support them in Noises Off and trust me, you will not be let down.

3. There will be British accents

Who doesn’t love a British accent? I’m pretty sure we all at one point of our lives tried to imitate them. Well, this show is full of them!

4. The set is awesome.

The set for this show is amazing. It will have you thinking you’ve been transported to 1970s London. This aesthetically pleasing set will light up your eyes and have you wondering, “How did they build that?”.

5. It will give you something to do on the weekend.

Are you always trying to find something to do on the weekends? Why not go see this show? Noises Off premieres March 3rd and will be performed during the first two weekends of March. It will give you and your friends something to look forward and it won’t require you to leave campus. With your Student ID, it is only $6.
