Stephen Parrish

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bucknell chapter.

Name: Stephen Parrish
Hometown: Bethesda, Maryland
Major: History and Political Science
Class Year: 2014

After visiting campus on a really nice day, this week’s campus cutie made the commitment to come to Bucknell University. Now, the newly 20-year-old Stephen Parrish has become campus cutie, but still hasn’t experienced the Freeze.

The Basics

Favorite Book: Doors of Perception by Aldous Huxley
Favorite Movie: Fight Club
Favorite store: Starbucks
Most played song on your ipod: What’d I say by Ray Charles
Favorite Class at Bucknell: International Politics with Professor Gregory Sanjian
Favorite aspect of Bucknell: It’s a beautiful campus, both the students and the campus itself.

Campus Activities: I am in the A cappella group Beyond Unison. I am a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, and am on the Events Committee, Derby Days Committee, Arts Committee, and Pledge Education Committee.

Campus Posse: Jenni Mykrantz, Brandon Morris, Justin Hicks, Eric Stillwell, Hugo McMenamin

General Interests: In the past year or so I have been trying to learn how to play piano without reading music. I just do it by ear. I sneak off to practice, but tell my friends I am doing something different. I am also interested in Music Production.

Little Known Fact: I can do four or five front handsprings in a row. But a better little known fact: when I was 13 or 14, I did a front handspring and wasn’t focusing. I fell awkwardly on my neck and fractured it.

Girls, Girls, Girls

Relationship Status: Complex

What you look for in a girl: Someone who can talk for a long time, and you have to be crazy but not necessarily show it ever. Fundamentally crazy, we’ll call it.

Female turnoff: Chain smoking cigarettes.

Celebrity Crush: Angelina Jolie. That’s a lot of woman.

The Best of the Rest

Proudest Accomplishment: My senior year of high school, I was the lead in our musical, Kiss Me Kate. I played Fred. I sang seven solos, which was difficult.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years: Living on an island somewhere, because I already made it big. And in a mansion. Everything tropical. Toucans everywhere. Koalas if they are native.

3 words to describe yourself: Creative, ambitious, and easy-going.

Cameron is a senior at Bucknell University pursuing degrees in English and Theatre. Born and raised in suburban Philadelphia, she is a member of Delta Gamma sorority and recently spent a semester abroad in London (tea and scones galore!). Her favorite things include (but are not limited to) anything with the word "coffee" in it, her two shih tzus, peppermint gum, reality tv, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, dancing, staying active, and singing. Her claim to fame? She was a street shoutout on the show "Cash Cab".
