5 Things You Should Know about Lori Loughlin and the College Admissions Scandal!

Unless you live under a rock, there is NO WAY you haven’t heard or guiltlessly indulged in the juicy drama of the recent college admissions scandal. For the past week, it has been the front-page story of multiple notabile magazines including People, US Magazine, and Forbes, and the buzz has yet to die down - especially for the Lori Loughlin and her family.

While most of us know her as Aunt Becky from Full House, actress Lori Loughlin has been under fire by the media, as she and 49 other people were indicted on March 12th for alleged involvement in the nationwide college admissions scandal. Loughlin and her fashion designer husband Mossimo Giannulli were accused of paying $500,000 for guaranteed admission into the University of Southern California for their two daughters Olivia Jade, 19, and Bella, 20. Both of the daughters were apparently admitted as recruits for the USC women’s crew team, despite neither of them having any actual rowing experience. Both Loughlin and Giannulli were arrested, but managed to be released on a whopping $1,000,000 bail.
