Beyoncé said it best when she sang “Single Ladies.” All of us single girls make it our anthem, though most of us secretly desire a guy to “put a ring on it.” But who needs a guy? Not me, and certainly not you either!
We feel like we need a man to tell us we are beautiful and special, but in reality, you’re the only person who can love yourself to the fullest! You have your girls to tell you how amazing and pretty you are, so why would it make it any better coming from a guy?
People can have fun in relationships, but being single is so much better. You have all the time in the world to focus on yourself and pursue whatever passion you have. Nothing and no one can hold you back or prevent you from going after what you want in life.
You get to spend countless hours on tumblr, pinterest, netflix, or spotify without any “pay attention to me” texts from a guy. It’s literally all about you. Eat all the junk food you want, don’t worry about how you look, spend the day reading a book you’ve always wanted to read.
So next time you’re laying in bed at night sad because you don’t have a man, just remember all the positive things that come out of being a single, independent woman! No worrying, no fighting, no crying, you are your own person and you are amazing.
