Sampling the Best Fall Snacks at City Convenience

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BU chapter.

You know it’s fall when CityCo starts to stock the festive foods up in the front. This article should help you find your next unnecessary pumpkin spice obsession, just in time for Halloween.

Boom Chicka Pop Pumpkin Spice Drizzled Kettle Corn

These are perfect for a spooky movie night! I ate the whole bag in one sitting (oops!) and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent balance of sweet and salty goodness.

Reese’s Pumpkins

It’s not technically pumpkin-flavored, but it still counts. All the holiday Reese’s just taste so much better than the regular ones, so stock up on your peanut butter pumpkins while you still can!

Ben and Jerry’s Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream

This one can be a little more difficult to find, but keep an eye out for this flavor if you’re lucky enough to get to CityCo right when they restock! Strawberry Cheesecake is one of my favorite Ben and Jerry’s pints year-round, and Pumpkin Cheesecake is similar but extra special. The graham cracker swirl is the secret ingredient to its deliciousness.

Dunkin’ Pumpkin Muffin

CityCo does have a Dunkin’, and I would feel awful if I didn’t recommend their best- possibly of all time- muffin. A Dunkin’ pumpkin muffin is a must-have this season. I wish they offered it year-round, though my wallet definitely disagrees. What makes a Dunkin’ pumpkin muffin so special, you ask? Well besides the crunchy streusel top and spiced icing, I guess you’ll have to try it for yourself. Heads up, Dunkin’ has oat milk now so you could enjoy your pumpkin muffin with a pumpkin spice iced coffee too! Just a suggestion.

Pumpkin Spice RXBAR

Last, but certainly not least, is the Pumpkin Spice RXBAR. Even if you say you don’t like protein bars, this one is worth a shot! I was skeptical too, but it doesn’t have that chalky taste that so many nutrition bars seem to have. After buying these bars every time I stopped at CityCo, I ended up getting a 4 pack at Target. And I continue to do so each week.

I hope this article will help you find your next fall favorite! And next time you stop by CityCo, please tell them to stock up on their Ben and Jerry’s Pumpkin Cheesecake, for my sake.
