Reminiscing On the Best of Spring Semester From Home

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BU chapter.

February is undoubtedly my favorite month of the year – year after year. My birthday is in February, Valentine’s Day is in February, it’s cold in February, and there’s usually a lot of events that take place in February. It’s just a really good month! It also goes by really fast – and not just because it’s the shortest month. This year’s February was especially good, and I’m kind of sad it’s ended. Here’s a list of five of my favorite things that happened this month – in the order that they happened!

I celebrated Valentine’s Day

I think Valentine’s Day is such a fun holiday – even if you’re single! This year I was really busy on Valentine’s Day, so I didn’t get to do much, but I still had a really good day! I ate chocolate that my parents sent me the entire day and then ordered pizza and hung out with some of my friends that night!

I rushed Sigma Kappa

I did recruitment in February and went Sigma Kappa! I’m so excited and already love Sigma Kappa so much! I’ve already met so many sweet girls and had so much fun at all the events we’ve had!

My mom visited me

My mom came to town for my birthday, and we had the best time! We went shopping, ate at a lot of good places, and hung out around the city! My mom is my best friend, and I always love it when she comes to town!

I celebrated my birthday

My Birthday way February 25th! I always love my birthday, and my family and friends always make me feel so special! On my birthday, my mom and I went shopping and then ate dinner with some of my friends! It was so much fun!

Sigma Kappa Sisterhood Retreat

I spent the last bit of my February on a sisterhood retreat with Sigma Kappa in Rockport, Massachusetts! It was so fun getting to know some of my sisters better and exploring the city with them! Also, The Proposal (one of my favorite movies), was filmed there, which is really cool!

February was a very fun and busy month! I’m sad it’s over, but I’m looking forward to Spring Break and the rest of the spring semester!
