It’s no secret that this summer won’t be what we all were expecting a few months ago. Vacations, parties, internships, and jobs have all been canceled left and right. Since most of the things on our previous summer bucket lists won’t be possible, my best friend and I started brainstorming a new summer bucket list full of things that can be done alone or while remaining six feet apart. So, without further ado, here is our ultimate ~quarantined~ summer bucket list.

Baking

Being home means lots of home-cooked meals and, more importantly, home-cooked desserts. Try out a new recipe or a decorating method.

Photoshoots

Take a mirror outside, set up a self-timer, or call your family out to up your at-home selfie game and practice editing like a vsco girl.

Sew and Upcycle Clothes

With all this extra time at home, create new looks from old outfits in your closet.

~Nature~

If your state allows it, walk or drive to your closest park or nature trail and enjoy the great outdoors (don’t forget sunscreen and bug spray!).

Get TikTok famous (jk… maybe?)

Learn the dances, take part in the most recent trends, and create original content. (My most popular video has a whopping 15 views right now, but we all have to start somewhere, right?)

Movie Night

Make some microwavable popcorn, pull up the Netflix extension or screen share on Zoom, and have a movie night with friends.

Visit Movie/TV Sites

Do a quick google search to find the closest film location and go pretend you’re a movie star! (I will be taking this time to pretend I’m on the set of Hannah Montana: The Movie in Columbia, TN.)

We might be stuck inside for the foreseeable future, but that doesn’t mean this summer won’t be great!
