An Open Letter to the CVS Christmas Aisle

Dear CVS Christmas Aisle,

Oh, where to start? You may be fairly underrated in the scope of holiday traditions, but to me you are special. You may be just an aisle in a store, and not a very big one at that, but you’re the first one there when my Christmas excitement begins to kick in. 

Seeing your inventory slowly fill up more and more never fails to get me hyped for the upcoming festivities, and each trip to the store entails new surprises for me. Don’t get me wrong, we’re not without our issues. Like that time I just wanted to buy tissues and ended up taking half an hour just looking thorough your shelves. And yes, the middle of November is pretty early for you to start making your annual appearance. But I’m always happy to see you arrive, and I dread the day we will have to part. So thank you, for making my mundane and obligatory trips to CVS just a bit more magical in a little, unconventional way.
