Nicholas (Nick) Jones ‘14

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BU chapter.

Look out B.U., this week’s campus cutie is coming at you from Washington D.C. This cosmopolitan cutie is a southern gentleman who can’t get enough sports and music.

Nick is in CGS and plans to major in international relations. He’s attending BU on an Army ROTC scholarship. Not only is he smart, he’s driven too. After college, he’s going to serve four years of active duty and then head off to law school.

Nick loves Boston, and everyone he’s gotten to meet so far. He doesn’t care so much for college dorm life though. In his free time, Nick loves to watch sports and go to concerts. His favorite place to go in Boston is a tie between Fenway and Newbury.  Nick is a funny guy who can be a little shy at times, but overall he’s outgoing and fun to be around.

Nick is also athletic and a sweetheart who spends a lot of time with his mom and sister. He spares no expense on first dates when he takes the lucky ladies to the Capital Grille on Newbury.

Nick isn’t your typical college guy. He’s lived in five countries and speaks three languages. You should be impressed.

What’s he doing this summer? Hanging out at Bethany Beach, going on a road trip with his mom and sister, interning with Louisiana Senator Landrieu, and fitting in as many country concerts as possible.

His favorite song and movie at the moment are “My Kinda Party” and The Lincoln Lawyer

Lindsey Reese is a sophomore at Boston University majoring in Print Journalism with a minor in International Relations. Hailing from down south in Waco, Texas, Lindsey decided to take the first opportunity to experience the city life in Boston. She developed a love for other cultures and saw Boston as the perfect playground for discovering new people and backgrounds. Lindsey enjoys marketing in the Public Relations Student Society of America, working for BUTV, and being a member of Alpha Epsilon Phi. Homework and clubs don't stop her from enjoying an occasional Friends marathon or going out for fro-yo with her roommates. The future holds many promises, but Lindsey has her sights on a specific dream: writing for Vogue or InStyle. Graduation might be years away, but Lindsey is ready to hit the pavement next semester looking for internships at local magazines.
