My Amateur Opinions On ‘Dancing With The Stars’

I have never taken a dance class, and this is also my first time watching Dancing With the Stars. With that being said, I am aware of my lack of expertise and knowledge about the show and the art of dance. However, I still have opinions, and here is my prediction of the remaining couples’ placements in the finale.

ALIX AND VAL

Although this may be controversial, I think that Alix has been the most improved and most talented throughout this season. She clearly puts so much effort into each dance, and I think that her hard work and determination will earn her the win. I also love how supportive and motivating Val has been for her, and they deserve to bring home the Mirror Ball Trophy this week.

ROBERT AND WITNEY

From Robert’s first dance in Week 1, he impressed me and probably everyone else who watched the episode. It was lively, well-choreographed, and fun.

He’s had his ups and downs since then, but Robert has had numerous strong dances as the season has gone on. He is a fan favorite, especially with the ladies. His improvement has been noticeable, and he would certainly be deserving of the win. I think it would be great if Robert did win, then he and Bindi would both be winners of the show.

JORDAN AND EZRA

These two are my absolute favorites!

I love how they match each other’s energy, on and off the dance floor. I’m also SO impressed by Jordan: an Olympic gold medalist, college gymnast, student at UCLA, and a phenomenal contestant on DWTS. Ezra has really been showing off his choreography skills, and I’m confident that their freestyle is going to be amazing. I wish they could win, but I don’t see them overpowering Alix or Robert’s votes.

ELAINE AND ALAN

The top four are so hard to rank. Elaine and Alan have been so impressive this season, and she has genuinely embodied the point of this show: learning and improving week by week. I didn’t doubt her ability to make it to the final, and I think if she had the same number of fans as Robert and Alix, she would have a real shot at winning. I also love Alan; I think he is so supportive and kind.

DYLAN AND DANIELLA

Obviously, Daniella is an amazing dancer who makes it hard not to root for this couple. She is so good that when they take the stage, I sometimes forget who her partner is entirely. Not that Dylan is bad, he just isn’t who I expected to make it to the finale. His lack of movement doesn’t earn my vote, but the lifts are pretty impressive. Especially compared to the rest of this talented finale, I see him finishing in 5th place.

I’m excited to see how all of the dances will turn out this week!
