Ghouls and goblins aside, the scariest thing about this Halloween might be that you still have no plans for the most wickedly-fun night of the year. But there’s no need to fear! There are still plenty of options for those who are too busy to have planned something ahead of time.

 

Rocky Horror Picture Show

Where – AMC Boston Common

When – 10 p.m.

Cost – $12.50

Tell me more – Every Halloween, the Full Body Cast has been performing “Rocky Horror” to the delight of time-warpers everywhere. Additionally, the Full Body Cast also puts on a fun, pre-show before the screening starts, performing skits and songs that are sure to have you in stitches.

 

 

Scary Movie Double Feature

Where – The Brattle Theater in Harvard Square

When – 8 p.m.

Cost – $10 with your student ID

Tell me more – The Brattle Theatre is showing classic, spooky movies this Hallo-week, and things are even more frightening with this Halloween double feature – Robert Wise’s The Haunting followed by the third film in John Carpenter’s Michael Myers-centered Halloween saga. Don’t forget the popcorn!

 

 

Zombie Prom

Where – The Beehive

When – 9:30 p.m.

Cost – Cost of food and/or drinks

Tell me more – The Beehive boasts a unique combination of food and live music, and on Halloween the restaurant is hosting its very own Zombie Prom. With a costume contest and an ‘80s cover band, those who are 21+ can break out their best zombie dance moves into the wee hours of the morning.

 

Halloween Improv

Where – Improv Asylum

When – 8 p.m.

Tell me more – Do you prefer screaming with laughter rather than fear? Well then the Improv Asylum’s Halloween Show might be the right place for you this Halloween. The group be performing Halloween-specific improv, and there will also be a costume contest. This event is sure to be full of laughs and creative Halloween costumes!

 

 

Haunted Boston Ghost Tour

Where – Downtown Boston

When – 8 p.m. (tours run rain or shine)
