Kyle Clauss COM ’15

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BU chapter.

Hometown: Nazareth, PA
Year: 2015
Major: Journalism
Sign: Pisces

HC: A freshman in college and already a published author and news director at WTBU. Pretty impressive, what’s your secret?
KC: Lots of support from my family and friends. And copious amounts of black coffee. I never nap, and my friends tell me I need to relax. Honestly, I don’t know how.

HC: We’re all caffeine addicts at Her Campus. Do you have a favorite coffee place at BU?
KC: There’s a place on Beacon Hill called Caffe Bella Vita. It’s a cute little place with a European feel, and they have the best pistachio gelato.

HC: Sounds romantic. Speaking of romance, what’s your favorite romantic comedy?
KC: I’d hate to classify it as a romcom, but Annie Hall. I can confidently say I’ve watched it at least forty times. It was one of the first movies where the guy doesn’t get the girl in the end.

HC: Spoiler alert! How about you tell us more about your book, without giving away the ending.
KC: Well, it’s called Figments, and it’s a collection of six short stories. It took me about two years to write. You can check it out – or buy it, buying it would be nice – online.

HC: Definitely a must read. Anything else you think all the lovely BU ladies should know about you?
KC: Listen to my radio show – The Beanpot with Remier and Clauss. Sundays, 10am – 12pm. And like us on Facebook. Or follow us on Twitter. Or both. That’s about it for my shameless plugs haha.
