Mama we made it! It’s finals week. You’re stressed out, you’ve studied all night, and you have to make it to a 9 a.m. exam tomorrow. A big part of doing well on exams is feeling confident about yourself, and what better way to feel confident than by looking fly for your finals!

Plan Your Outfit the Night Before

If you’re a fashionista at heart and you spend at least an hour picking out your outfit every day, try to pick out your outfit the night before. After you figure out what you’re going to wear, lay it out on your bed or desk.

Have a Uniform

No, I don’t mean wear an actual school uniform. Just wear a variation of the same outfit combination every day. I highly recommend jeans + booties + graphic tee + cardigan.

Use This 5 Minute Makeup Tutorial

I made this super handy tutorial exactly for this reason— you gotta roll out of bed and get to class, but you have to roll into class looking like a star.

PJ’s for Clothes

Find a cute PJ top (or many!) that could easily pass for a regular shirt. That way, you can sleep in it the night before, roll out of bed, throw on some jeans and a necklace, and head out! (These are from Primark!)

Dressy Sweats

Dressy sweats are very underrated in the college student fashion world. They’re so comfortable, but it seems difficult to put together sophisticated outfits around them. Wear your cute sweats to bed, wake up, put on a sparkly top and a cardigan or blazer and hit the road!

Clothes for PJ’s

This is very similar to the “PJ’s for Clothes” tip, except the complete opposite. For this one, go to sleep in something you already own— perhaps a graphic tee or a cute sweatshirt— roll out of bed in the morning, throw on some jewelry and a hat, look hot for finals!

Swap a Baseball Cap for a Cuter Hair Accessory

It’s tempting to give up on your hair during finals week and throw on a baseball hat to cover it up. It’s totally fine to have “meh” hair days, but make your head feel happy and wear a brimmed hat, a hair accessory, or a shimmery beanie.

If you forget to set your alarm the night before, wake up super late, and have no time to change out of your PJ’s, wear a long coat and tall boots, a hat, and sunglasses.

You’ll look bomb af, and nobody has to know the truth behind your daring fashion choices. A colegiette magician never reveals her finals secrets.

There you have it, collegiettes! Wearing a great outfit will make you feel amazing, and the act of putting it on and patting on some quick makeup is sure to make you feel awake and jazzed to pass your class!

Now… go slay those finals!
