So after a week on Spring Break sitting on your couch with your friends Ben & Jerry or downing some high-calorie, low-nutrition drinks in a nice tropical place, you probably thought to yourself “I need to eat better.” Good thing Sargent Choice Night is this Thursday!

So you’re familiar with Sargent Choice, the little label with a chef’s hat on it next to some meals in the dining hall. Contrary to popular belief, the Sargent Choice program is more than just that. It is a unique program that helps students to eat healthier by crafting new and tasty recipes, growing with students throughout their four years and working with students.

For example, this Thursday Mar. 21, get ready for some awesome healthy (and tasty) choices at all three dining halls for Sargent Choice Night from 5-9 p.m. You can check out the entire menu for Thursday here–I know I am personally excited for the Whole Wheat Margarita Pizza! Sarah Butler, a Registered Dietitian at the Sargent Choice Nutrition Center attending a tasting last week (a sneak peek!) of the items available this Thursday.

“It’s really hard to describe my favorite item,” says Butler. “I absolutely loved the Pasta with Chicken & Roasted Vegetables in a Garlic White Wine Sauce. It doesn’t feel like spring outside today but this dish ‘was spring’ to me!”

Be on the look out Thursday for some awesome new options in the dining hall–grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich with granola anyone?

Make sure to RSVP on the event page!
