Hello Angels! If you clicked on this article, I’m sure you’ve watched the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show or have been a VS fan for many years now. Or, maybe you just really like hair and makeup.
Victoria’s Secret is famously known for its beautiful, bouncy blowouts and ethereal and elegant makeup, but how do they do it? After scouring the internet and social media, I’ve found the main tips from Victoria’s Secret stylists so you can do your makeup just like a Victoria’s Secret Angel.
A common tip that the Angels swear by is skincare. Yes, I know, we’ve heard this tip time and time again from various influencers, but it’s true! Solid skin prep ensures an easy application and a beautiful finish to the look. Use a glowy primer to make the dewiness look like it comes from within. Also, try adding a face and body glow oil to finish off the look.
To make sure the base lasts as long as possible, apply the foundation in multiple very thin layers and apply cream products before the powders.
Another little secret is the use of red blush. Whether it’s light or dark, using red blush makes the look appear like a natural flush. Apply a bit gently to your cheeks in the classic upward motion until you’ve achieved the desired look.
As we know, Victoria’s Secret is well known for the “Glow,” the dewy touch that makes you look ethereal. Use highlighter, not glitter, in the inner corner of the eyes and blend it slightly into the eyeshadow. Put some under the arch of your brows, the top of your cheeks, and the tip of your nose.
The color of the highlighter is totally up to you, but to really pull the look together, look at your skin’s undertones. Warm undertones indicate a more gold, champagne, or yellow-based highlighter, while cold undertones work better with a white or silver highlighter. Pink or peach undertones should use pink, rose gold, or peach, but olive undertones blend perfectly with a champagne or rose gold highlighter. One of the Victoria’s Secret staples is Charlotte Tilbury Make-up.
To make your eyes and lashes pop, apply black or dark brown liner to your top waterline and make a small wing with it. Use the glitter on top of the eyelids, and use the above undertone suggestions for the best look.
Lastly, line your lips with a slightly darker pink than your lipstick to give your lips a pout effect, and if you want, add a gloss. This is a great opportunity to add a little extra glitter!
Victoria’s Secret hasn’t confirmed all of these tips; however, my observations can at least get you started to achieve your full Angel potential. Remember, you’re gorgeous regardless, but these Angels’ tips can bring an extra flair to your makeup routine.
Now, go strut your stuff and keep being iconic!
