Studded clothing has been seen on many celebrities lately but the prices of store bought studded clothing can be pretty expensive! So when I came across a quilted faux leather jacket at H&M I thought why not stud this myself? I was so pleased by the outcome that I studded a denim shirt too. Here’s your step-by-step guide to studding anything you want:
 [pagebreak]
1.     You will need studs with two prongs on the back (I got mine from studsandspikes.com), a butter knife (to push the prongs down), and of course the article of clothing that you are studding.

2.     Next chose your design! I started off by studding the shoulder seam.

3.     Take a stud and push the prongs in to the fabric.

4.     Close the prongs by pushing them down with the flat end of the butter knife.

5.     And that’s it, just keep on placing your studs and repeat. And remember the studs don’t have to be perfectly in a row, that’s what makes your clothing one of a kind!

Here is a look at my finished products!
