This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BU chapter.

It’s holiday season! Guess what that means?! The beginning of the struggle to find everyone gifts they’ll love and not be absolutely broke at the end. Every college student has been there and I feel you. That is why I am here to give you some cute, great options to inspire you and not totally break the bank!

For Mom:

She’s probably the most important woman in your life and she deserves a gift that shows just how much you appreciate her. Considering winter is upon us and the cold weather is here, everybody loves a good hand cream, especially your Mom. She can easily put these little L’Occitane hand creams in her purse to keep her hands smooth throughout the day. It also already comes in a super cute rose gold bauble perfect for gifting!

For a Best Friend:

Your best friend probably knows you better than anybody else (besides your family, of course). You’ve spent countless hours together and they’ve seen you at your weirdest moments. What a better way to capture your relationship than a mixtape of all your favorite songs. This way your bestie can relive all your favorite moments together when they’re jammin’ in their car on the highway! If you want to make your gift even more personal try collaging a bunch of photos of you two and making a cute CD envelope.

For your Significant Other:

If your boyfriend or girlfriend is at home, at a different college, or even just in a different dorm building on campus, a cute reminder of how much you care about them is the perfect gift idea. Print a photo of the two of you that commemorates something special the two of you did together or has sentimental value and frame it. This frame from Amazon is decorated so that they will always remember you and the sweetness you share.

For Sibling:

You’re a college student at a great university and your brother or sister supported you in your journey to get there. Reward them with a token from your college or university! Take a quick trip to the bookstore and pick up a stylish hat so your sibling can be reminded of you and stay warm in the winter weather.

For Roommate:

You’ve been living with this girl for almost four months now and she’s learned to live with your quirky habits. Give this girl a round of applause! Or even better, give her an adorable monogram mug with her first initial on it. This way she’ll think of you every time you two make hot chocolate together and cozy up on a Sunday night. These mugs from Anthropologie are the perfect addition to any dorm room shelf!

For a Secret Santa:

No matter whom you get for a Secret Santa, they will probably love getting candy for the holidays. A really great idea is to grab a box of assorted flavors so you don’t have to worry about their favorites. Cadbury Roses are a great choice because they have an exotic appeal (they’re from the U.K.) and they taste delicious!
