Hailing from Jackson, New Jersey, this CAS double major has a strong presence on campus. While you may know David Rosenstreich from events with his fraternity, ZBT, I know him through his job at BU Housing (which means he knows how to loft beds and fix fridges), where he “picks things up and puts them down.”
When not hard at work, this Campus Cutie can be found at the Commons, playing sports like baseball and football, or shopping. “I like shopping- I’m not embarrassed to admit it,” he laughs. He enjoys winding down on the weekends with a good book- he never leaves his room without his Kindle.
At school, David keeps busy with a double major in Economics and Math, with hopes of one day being an actuary. He finds the opportunities, insurance, and other “number-type things” interesting. Although, given the choice, he would be a pitcher for the Yankees in a heartbeat.
Rosenstreich lives by a quote from Tupac Shakur, “The only thing that comes to a sleeping man is dreams.” He like that it describes how you have to go after what you want in life- something actively partakes in.
When it comes to dating, Rosenstreich puts a lot of thought into planning dates. For Rosenstreich his ideal date would be doing something that both him and his date would enjoy doing. “I want to go somewhere we can both have a good time. I don’t want to take a girl to a baseball game if she knows nothing about sports,” he says. Rosenstreich also has an open mind when it comes to his dream girl. He looks for intelligence and confidence, but keeps an open mind.
This only child is superbly thankful for his friends and family- he says that they make him a “genuinely happy person”.
I for one can attest to that.
